With Ecosism® concrete structures, it is possible to make a monolithic and structural concrete wall with superior performance with a strong resilience to the horizontal actions and secure against natural disasters.
Ecosism®’s double insulation system assures the complete absence of thermal bridges and thus ensures large energy savings for the building. The homogeneity of the insulation also ensures building services arrangements are planned and work efficiently.
Ecosism® stuctures have effective airborne sound insulation thanks to the mass of the concrete coupled with different combinations of types and sizes of insulation materials. In addition to this, the metal plaster mesh allows for a bespoke finish that enhances the soundproofing performance of our structures.
The fire resistance of Ecosism® products depend on the mass of the concrete and the concrete covering the structural reinforcement. During the production of Ecosism® structures, you are able to choose the thickness of the concrete cover, which is secured by the configuration of steel mesh. It is also possible to use EURO-CLASS A1 insulating materials such as rock wool and apply finishes suited to individual design requirements. The fire resistance is specially made as a function of the stratigraphy of each structure.
Thanks to the Ecosism® system, the cost of constructing a building is reduced compared to traditional systems and the greater speed of construction ensures a faster return on investment. In fact, the Ecosism® system makes organizing the building site easier, reduces construction mistakes and generates savings in installation operations. Compared to a traditional system, Ecosism® allow a minimum 20% saving in terms of costs and times of constructing an unfinished building for a result of the same quality.
The handling and laying Ecosism® forms are facilitated by their light weight which can vary, depending on the insulating material used, from 3.5 to 8 kg / sq. This feature also allows a single operator to place forms of over 3m2 without the use of lifting equipment.
The Ecosism® steel mesh can be curved, maiputed and shortened to fit your designer’s vision. Combining different Ecosism® structures to create your final design, make it possible to meet all your construction needs, such as: load-bearing walls, party walls, infill, dividing wall, floors, roofs and shaped walls. With the Ecosism® system, you can choose both the insulating material and the composition of the structural materials, as well as the type of finish.
Ecosism® is compatible with all traditional building systems, commercially available finishes and all window and doorframe systems. An Ecosism® structure places no constraints on a designer’s choices when it comes to form and practicality.
